About me and my approach

I know from my own experience that starting therapy can feel like a big step. My training has been in-depth, trauma-informed, and has included years of personal therapy, so I understand what it’s like to sit in the client’s chair. That experience shapes the way I work today: with warmth, authenticity, and a genuine respect for the courage it takes to seek support.

I have completed an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute, along with a Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Integrative psychotherapy simply means that I don’t believe there’s one single way to approach every issue. Instead, I bring together a range of theories and methods: including attachment theory, affect regulation theory, Transactional Analysis, Self Psychology and relational psychodynamic theory. This flexibility allows me to tailor our work to what you most need.

For me, integration is also about you; helping you connect different parts of your experience, so that life feels more whole and balanced. Therapy can be a place to make sense of what has happened, to feel steadier in the present, and to move forward with greater clarity and wellbeing.

Above all, I see therapy as a collaboration. We’ll work together to explore what feels difficult, discover new perspectives, and find a way forward that makes sense for you.

If you would like to find out more, why not book an initial consultation where we can meet, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and see if working together feels right for you.
